New Boilers or Retrofits?

First Canadian Centre building was completed in 1982 and was the tallest building in Calgary at the time. By the year 2009 the two low-pressure boilers were almost 30 years old and an upgrade was needed to increase building efficiencies.

Brookfield's Creative Binder Recycling Project

When a tenant moved out, the vacated office was left with a large quantity of binders that the Brookfield team could not find homes for.  Rather than throwing them directly into the garbage, The Brookfield team decided to create a team building opportunity for staff to recycle 500 binders!

Food & Yard Waste Bylaw Changes for Businesses & Organizations

By the end of this year, no matter where you live or work, Calgarians will have new ways to keep food and yard waste out of the landfills – through the residential Green Cart program and new bylaw requirements for multi-family complexes and businesses and organizations (including commercial buildings).
